Job Title: Trading Assistant for Hedge Fund

Description: Duties include trading support, spreadsheet improvement, and loan agreement administration. This person will be responsible for trading support (trade entry, trade confirmations with counterparties, trade breaks, and daily P/L) for the group, trading desks primary contact/interface with the back office (on trade breaks, settlement, instrument set-up, and issues related to some documentation), checking standard documentation regarding completed trades including ISDA and LSTA documentation, special modeling tasks for the analysts (Capital IQ and Bloomberg support). This person will be responsible for spreadsheet improvement and maintenance (Proprietary Analytics, Proprietary Risk Servers, Proprietary Data Servers, Microsoft Excel and Access, and Bloomberg). This individual will be responsible for loan agreement administration and accounting (verifying compliance with financial ratios of portfolio companies, tracking fees and payments due on portfolio loans, tracking changes to loan terms in the clients proprietary databases, and monitoring proprietary spreadsheets supporting analysts and portfolio managers).
Requirements:
BR - 1-3 years of experience in Big 4 Audit/Assurance or Transaction ServicesBR - Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting and/or FinanceBR - Minimum overall GPA of 3.4BR - CPA or CFA designation (desired)BR - Very strong MS Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Macros, and VBA programming preferred)BR - Strong MS Access knowledge
