Description: This Woodland Hills, CA position will be responsible for investment accounting operations for the retirement services portfolios which includes the following: processing and reconciling daily cash activity between the PAM investment accounting system and numerous banks. This individual will also be responsible for daily cash mostly consists of bond principal and income payments and cash related to trades. This role will be processing and reconciling daily cash activity by manager group which enables each portfolio manager to track their available cash. Daily verification and reconciliation of PAM and SAP cash balances to bank accounts is essential to this role. This function will be identifying and resolving discrepancies between PAM and the custodian bank. This role will be corresponding with the bank on a daily basis via email and phone to resolve issues timely. This individual will be analyzing specific issues by security type and determining the respective course of action to correct the problem. Finally, this position will be working with the investment accounting staff to identify transactions affecting month-end yields and returns.
Candidates must have 2-4 years of experience with month end close, journal entries, general ledger, and GAAP. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online for immediate consideration.
