Description: Job Title Principal Consultant Location HOME-19711-DE-1 Organization Name PeopleSoft CRM Dashboard (Oracle BAM) Consultant Department Description As a member of the Oracle Business Intelligence and Warehousing team (BI&W), the Consultant will participate in broad, complex, and critical PeopleSoft CRM Dashboard engagements, providing guidance and direction to project team members, clients, and partners. Oversees the research and analysis of client Business Activity Monitoring (Oracle BAM) requirements and processes for PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management. Contributes to the development and enhancement of Oracle Consulting methods, techniques, processes, and practices. Brief Description Relevant experience in business intelligence, multi-dimensional business analytics, operational dashboards, key performance metrics, data management, data standards, and data quality. Implementation experience working with PeopleSoft CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications. Experience with CRM Dashboard and Oracle BAM (also known as Istante). PeopleSoft EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) skills are a plus. Data management experience inc
luding enterprise data modeling, data conversion, and technical architecture. Experience with tools including Sagent, Ascential, Informatica, Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and OLAP tools including Business Objects, Microstrategy, Essbase, Cognos, Discoverer 10g and PeopleTools, Integration Broker, nVision, .Net Framework, J2EE, etc. is a plus. Detailed Description Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Possesses database, core applications and web technology knowledge. Has specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations. Job Requirements Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role. A BS or BA in related fields. 5-7 year overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel. Additional Details 1a) Working at the client site, consultant identifies and provides solutio
ns to broad, complex, and critical work to address clients Data Warehouse initiatives and issues. Using a high degree of insight and analytical skills, consultant develops new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems. Recommends alternatives and provides risk assessments based on areas of expertise. b) Contributes to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines. c) Anticipates changes in project plans and processes and recommends alternative approaches to the Project Manager. d) Develops and fosters a collaborative working relationship with clients. Works collaboratively with Oracle management team, consultants, project managers, and corporate development to develop consulting and project methodology, techniques, tools, and solutions. 2. Develops methods and techniques to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients. Utilizes Oracle consulting "best practices" and implementation methodology while designing and implementing EPM solutions at client sites. 3. Provides guidance, assistance, and training opportunities to team members and client staff. Mentors and coaches analysts and consultants.
4. Availability to travel 100%.
