Loan Officer
Primary Responsibilities Include: . Advising potential Borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs and processes . Assisting in preparing and participating in Realtor/Broker/Builder functions—including Open Houses and Conventions . Assisting in development of the Office Strategic Plan . Creating and executing a Business Development Plan . Performing ongoing Account Analysis and Lead Conversion . Accepting Loan Applications and entering into system . Obtaining Credit Documentation, Disclosures and other Forms in accordance with regulatory and Countrywide guidelines . Setting-up Loan Files . Forwarding Loan Files for further processing . Initiating and maintaining contact with Brokers, Realtors, Selling Agents, etc. within the locality to inform them of loan products and other services offered by Countrywide
A Successful Candidate Will Have: . High school diploma, GED or equivalent . 5+ years of Mortgage Banking experience . 3+ years experience originating Residential Loan Applications . Experience developing and implementing targeted Marketing and Sales Plans . Knowledge of the Realtor/Builder segment of the Mortgage industry . Comprehensive knowledge of Conventional (Conforming and Non-Conforming), FHA and VA loan products . Ability to originate and process all loan types . Comprehensive, working knowledge of HELOCs and Fixed Seconds . Ability to cross-sell . Comprehensive knowledge of pricing of all loan products . Knowledge of local Real-Estate community . Proven ability to generate a minimum of 6 to 8 Fundings per month . Comprehensive, working knowledge of Pre-Qualification principles and practices . Understanding of the Selling process . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Excellent organizational and presentational skills . Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint . Ability to effectively interact with customers, Builders, Realtors and other Business Partners
The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: . College degree
