Description: The Systems Engineer will focus on providing technical sales support to the LA/South Bay area sales team. This includes providing expert consulting in analyzing a client's requirements, recommending CommVault product solutions, implementing those solutions, optimizing performance and training customers.
Systems Engineer with storage software experience - MFG/VAR experience required, user experience a plus.
Legato, VRTS, TSM experience in sales with enterprise required.
Heterogeneous OS (Windows, Unix, Linux, NetWare a plus, MAC a plus).
Knowledge of Applications Concepts: DB, Messaging, Clustering, ILM, HSM, Compliance.
Quality written work and presentation skills to multiple levels.
Business case focus along with technical ability required.
The successful candidate needs to hit the ground running.
Candidate must live in LA/South Bay/area and will be paired with AE responsible for mostly LA (Thousand Oaks to Downtown), some OC, Inland Empire, and farther south.
