Description: The Development Engineer will be responsible for engineering and qualifying the photovoltaic laminate for a building integrated photovoltaic tile.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop assembly process for a flexible photovoltaic laminate
• Select, source, and test various material components
• Work with outside suppliers on machinery, tooling, and automation equipment
• Bring processes into production setting
• Characterize production runs
• Produce manufacturing documentation
Requirements
• Bachelors degree or higher in suitable engineering field with 3+ years experience
• Background in materials, process development, and manufacturing
• Careful eye towards producing robust processes
• Skilled at debugging production problems
• Exposure to lamination and soldering a plus
• Some experience with AutoCAD/Solidworks
• Desire to work in a fast paced team environment
• Interest in green/sustainable business
