Business Systems Analyst
The Distributed Disaster Recovery Planner position will be responsible for the review and analysis associated with disaster recovery plans designed to recover applications running on distributed platforms. This individual will need to be capable of applying business continuity concepts to a wide range of simple and complex systems and evaluate the effectiveness of the recovery plans. This individual will need to be comfortable with the Client's IT Continuity Standards to be able to apply those to all evaluations. This individual will be required to manage the deliverables required to comply with standards, apply reminders and in some cases escalation of risks do to the non-compliance of standards. Facilitate and coordinate the development and validation of disaster recovery capabilities of distributed systems and applications.
· Work directly with the business lines to ensure that they have proper disaster recovery documentation in compliance with the IT Continuity Standards.
· Participate in the Change Management and Production Readiness processes
· Ensure compliance to IT Continuity Standards prior to production implementation.
· Assess the criticality of the gaps identified and take actions to track, monitor and report these gaps.
· Create ways to facilitate the acceptance of the disaster recovery policies and standards set by Client
· Work collaboratively with other members of the Business Continuity team
· Provide technical support and coaching to team members
· Strong command of English Language
· Microsoft Office
