As a Business System Lead, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code docum
entation. You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. Detail oriented and technically savvy. 3-5 years technical or system expertise. Kowledge of Oracle tables and Visual Basics is a plus.
Approximately 5 years experience in Risk Analytics or Auditing Strong knowledge level of SAS/SQL Create efficient code that utilizes multiple tables/data sources and merging datasets Format SAS output in easy to read report format and ability to use FTP to transfer data between Unix and hard drive Experience with the Microsoft suite products such as Visio is required. Utilizing Excel using pivot tables to create charts and graphs and ability to take raw data, interpret data and prepare deck unsing Power Point Previous Risk Management Analytical and/or Policy Execution Experience Desired Willingness to "own" a specific subject area and take accountability and responsibility. Uses skills to perform research and analysis - recommending solutions and driving decisions. Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work Strong verbal and writing skills.Strong team building skills. Bachelor degree is required.Minimum one year of Application Devlopement work experience. Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills. Minimum of one year of work experience in a client server environment. Solid experience in Java, C++, or .Net programming and design techniques
