Title: BW Functional Support Specialist
Type: Permanent Hire
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina

Purpose/Description:
• This position is for an experienced BW developer preferably with a strong ABAP background. The candidate must have full life cycle BW implementation experience. Will handle SAP BW maintenance and support; work BW customer issues and enhancements for North America, may also work with any BW global issues/projects.
Skills & Knowledge:
• The candidate should have 2 or more years of BW configuration experience. (BW 3.0B or higher is preferred).
• Strong analytical and design skills; familiar with integration of legacy data into BW.
• The ideal candidate will have SEM-BPS implementation experience in addition to the requirements listed below.
• The following BW full-project life cycle experience is required:
• R/3 source system extraction and activation.
• Appending source system extractors.
• Generic data source creation and assignment.
• Non-R/3 source system integration.
• Standard Business Content activation within BW.
• InfoProvider design and development (Info Object, Info Cube, ODS, & Multi-Cube).
• Transfer rule and Update rule design and development (exit Routines).
• Info Source design and development.
• Info Package creation, scheduling, and monitoring (data loads).
• Transport Management System experience related to BW.
• BW query design and development (Bex Analyzer).
• BW Process Chain design and maintenance.
• BW performance tuning (statistics and parallel processing).
• Report monitoring and exception reporting.
The following BW experience is preferred:
• Implementation of virtual key figures and characteristics.
• SEM-BPS configuration (planning templates & functions).
• BW retractors into R/3.
• Web Application Designer.
• Web Template design and development.
• Style Sheet design and development.
• MIME repository maintenance.
• BW authorization maintenance.
• A Minimum of 2-3 years SAP BW & ABAP experience.
