Description: The Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for general ledger and accounting activities, which include, but are not limited to maintenance of monthly job costing, allocation of divisional and project interest costs, calculation of sales commissions, processing inter-company transactions, preparing financial reports, account reconciliation, variance and trend analyses, and various ad-hoc projects and analysis, as needed. Responsibilities may also include analysis of project profitability, process improvement projects, and mentoring Junior Accountants. The ability to independently analyze business issues and present recommendations to management is required.
Candidates should have their Bachelors in Accounting and a minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience. Either a CPA or someone working towards their CPA is preferred. Strong Excel skills are required. This opportunity is with a great company that is very well respected.
