Description: We are seeking a Vice President of Finance with major responsibilities to include: provide leadership and direction in accounting and financial control activities and serves as the principal adviser to the Financial Services Management team in matters relating to finance and resources, oversee all accounting to include financial controls and reporting and forecasting, provide coaching and assistance (individually and through Accounting/Business Analysis staff) to associates at all levels in interpreting and analyzing business and market data, play the lead role in developing and reporting the divisions annual business plan forecast (measure division performance against that plan), manage the performance of the Division Controller, act as division liaison and support for the Human Relations function, act as the key division representative to the Interdivisional Finance and Business Analysis Team and the Interdivisional Human Resources Team, represent the company on financial matters (industry governmental, regulatory, and benchmark organizations) as well as with ratings agencies and outside investors as applicable functions, service as the principal liaison with ope
rating banks and parent company regarding line of credit and warehouse bank issues. You will report directly to the Financial Services President and indirectly to the Parent Companys Chief Financial Officer as a Division Finance and Business Analysis Manager. You must possess a BS or greater in Accounting or Finance with a 10 year seasoned financial background and/or experience of at least five years working in the mortgage banking industry. Experience with a builder owned mortgage company will be a plus. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate the execution of a business plan are required.
