Description: SHIFT: Sunday - Tuesday with alt Wednesdays or Thursday-Saturday with alt Wednesdsays: 7pm - 7am



• Ensure physical security and facility infrastructure are within established operational parameters

• Assist and consult with customers in the design and implementation of customer architectures.

• Assist the customer in the physical layout and installation of their equipment in SunGards secure cabinets.

• Ensure customer installations are in accordance with standard procedures and Service Level Agreements.

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support to SunGards customers.

• Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with assigned customers.

• Primarily responsible for monitoring customer applications and SunGards operational architecture through a Network Operating Center (NOC) environment.

• Respond to alarms in accordance with SunGard procedures.

• Utilize technical expertise to analyze, troubleshoot and react to issues requiring immediate attention.

• Complete assigned work orders in an efficient manner.

• Issue trouble tickets when necessary.

• Maintain detailed logs and notebooks regarding customer applications, security, and operational readiness.

• Ensure the quality of service delivery continues to meet SunGard ISO certification requirements.





• College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Knowledge of facility infrastructure support equipment such as generator, UPS, Fire and HVAC systems preferred.

• Must possess strong customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.

• Basic Cisco (networking) knowledge preferred.

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Demonstrated flexibility, organization and self-motivation.

• 2 years related work experience preferred.

• Help desk experience preferred.

• Account management experience dealing with technical issues.

• Basic Network Design and troubleshooting experience.

• Minimal travel as needed.
